Back in 1973, before the Sydney Opera House opened and when tourists to Australia came in on the back of Paul Hogans “shrimp on the barbie” commercial… Bill Wright was pioneering a new business events idea…

Identifying Incentive travel was lacking specific destination management services ID (standing for Incentive Development) was born.

Fast forward 49 years and despite coming out of a prolonged Aussie lockdown with borders closed, business was back, and we were busy! Our birthday, June 7, came and went without acknowledgment as staff were operating sites or traveling into one of our core markets, the USA.

Arriving in August we finally settle on a date to celebrate, and that we did! Bill devised a retro ID trivia and we all played…
