The Australian China Summit was an inaugural five day Conference designed to foster future business and tourism relationships between Australia and China. With high-level international dignitaries and Tourism CEO’s from China and Australia attending, diplomacy and discretion for all components was imperative.
ID managed all aspects of the event, including liaising with multiple stakeholders and government departments. Each meeting was carefully documented in an extremely detailed critical path to monitor, update and evaluate the event criteria.
Senior project manager meetings identified areas where the team would need to be particularly vigilant, diplomatic or creative, such as with security and VIP protocol.
ID’s commitment to high level planning with various stakeholders, and tremendous organisational skills of their operations team, ensured this inaugural Summit exceeded its objectives.
